Those who have been helped by this class range from Japanese and veteran missionaries to those just getting started. As with all of our classes, they are on-line so you can take them from wherever you are. They are free so you can afford them. And they are extremely helpful. Horizons Upcoming events offered by Horizons International: http://engagingislam.org 1. May 26 – 31 From Cubs to Lions. Boulder, Colorado. For new and maturing converts from Islam. This is not a conference where you will hear testimonies and stories of conversions. This is a discipleship course that covers many topics such as: - Christian Worldview - Disciplines of the Christian life - How to read and study the Bible - How to deal with your family and friends - Gaining a heart for the world. Two levels will be offered, beginner and intermediate. 2. June 13 – 15 "Making Disciples among Muslims" conference. Edmonton, Canada. Intermediate to advanced teaching on Discipleship and going beyond evangelism to establish and strengthen converts in their faith. 3. June 17 – 21: Engaging Islam: Dearborn, Michigan. Training in Evangelism with outreach every afternoon. 4. July 8 – August 2: Strategic Institute for Muslim Studies: Boulder, Colorado Four intensive weeks of teaching which include teaching, interaction and role play.
